Steve Wilson:

Since its foundation in 2001 – Steve Wilson has served as Pastor-Teacher of Grace Community Church. Pastor Steve has been serving in ministry in Southern Kentucky since his ordination in 1994 … former service includes 4 years as Associate Pastor and then 3 years as Senior Pastor at Cave Mill Baptist Church in Bowling Green. Pastor Steve is recognized for his commitment to expository preaching and his passion for the spiritual maturity of the church.

Dennis Toland:

Dennis has been with Grace Community Church since 2002. He was formerly with the General Electric Company for 19 years before moving to Bowling Green with his wife Carolyn to serve as an elder. He serves in pastoral ministry and oversees Gracepath Biblical Counseling. His interest in counseling began early in his Christian life when he was first introduced to nouthetic counseling. In 2005 his passion for the sufficiency of Scripture lead him to begin training in this area and is now in the process of becoming certified by the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors (NANC).

Craig Groendyk:

Craig and his wife Ruth joined Grace Community Church shortly after a job transfer brought them to Bowling Green in 2003. As an Elder, Craig has been active as a teacher of high school and adult classes. Craig and Ruth have a daughter Betsy, son Michael, and daughter-in-law Becky who live in southern Florida. Craig is a sales representative of printed packaging materials.

Tim Welcher:

Tim was born in New York State and at age 12 accepted Jesus as Savior. At age 19, he joined the Navy and served for 20 years. During that time Tim married Cheryl and they raised their three children: Elizabeth, John David and Sarah. They also have two granddaughters: Heather and Trinity. After the military, as a student at Washington Bible College, Tim felt God was redirecting his life toward children/youth ministry and missions. Tim and Cheryl have been the Awana missionaries for Kentucky since March of 1997. Tim has a passion for sharing the Gospel and for training adults how to better reach children for Christ.

Chase Sears:

Chase Sears currently serves as our pastor to students and young adults. He and his wife, Sarah, have two daughters, Grace and Hannah. Prior to coming to Grace Community Church, Chase served as a college minister in Lexington, KY at Porter Memorial Baptist Church. Chase then moved to Los Angeles, CA to attend the Master’s Seminary. While there he served as a campus minister for Grace on Campus at the University of Southern California. Chase holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Divinity from the Master’s Seminary.
