Lord’s Day Morning Sermon: “The Fruit of Evangelism”

From the series “Commissioned to Change the World” Lord’s Day Morning, September 11, 2011. “The Fruit of Evangelism” Acts 8:9-24 – Pastor Steve Wilson. Genuine, faithful, evangelism produces fruit. Some of it is rotten. This reality informs all of our evangelistic endeavor.

Sunday Evening: “Whose ‘god’ is God?”

The beginning of a new series: Faith Like This, A Study from the Book of Daniel.  Sunday evening, March 20, 2011, “Whose ‘god’ is God?” Daniel 1 – Pastor Steve Wilson. Daniel is a fascinating, historical account of the events around Israel’s exile in Babylon. The focus is on 4 young Israelite men generally; and on 1 specifically – Daniel. There is an overarching theological thread throughout this great book: the sovereignty of God over the affairs of men and of nations. First question – whose god is God?

Sermon: “The Filling” from Pastor Steve Wilson

From the series “Commissioned to Change the World.” Acts 2:14-21. Being filled with the Spirit. What does that mean? How does a believer become enabled to accomplish the task to change the world with the Gospel? He or she must be filled with the Spirit – which means they must be filled with the very Word of God.
