In John 8 we find Jesus in the midst of the ongoing confrontation with the religious leaders of the Jews. At the same time some come to believe in Him. But are they genuine believers? Jesus turns His attention to them and forces them to consider who their father really is. Within minutes these professing followers become confessing enemies seeking His life.
