One of the fascinating elements of the Christmas story is the brevity of it; in Luke’s account, less than 300 words. It is remarkably brief. Yet, it is full of the magnificence and glory of God’s coming in human flesh. As we look at the account we will see three words that make all the difference: “born for you”.
