The Christian life of faith is a life of transition. We are certain that new life begins at our justification, by grace through faith, and therefore certain that God will finish what He began. That brings to our life the reality of transition; moving ever closer to being what we already are in Christ. Old traditions die hard and the change in a believer’s life can sometimes be slow, tedious, and almost imperceptible. But change we must. And change we will. All by God’s grace.
