All men and women are born in a state of unbelief. They are living in darkness; loving their sin. Only God can shine the light of glory of the gospel of Christ into their dead hearts and grant life. Many, however, will refuse that light, being further blinded by the god of this world, Satan. Those who are so double-minded will ignore the truth, resist the clear revelation of God, and, as a last resort, resist the messenger of truth.
