Join us tomorrow evening, June 5, at Western Kentucky University for the Transit of Venus Viewing Party — A once-in-a-lifetime event! The event, which will be held at Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium, is from 5:00-8:00pm and is FREE! We will meet in the main lobby of the Downing University Center between 4:30 and 4:45, then head over to the stadium together.  If you would like to join us, but can’t make it on time – call Pastor Steve (270.535.4406) or Jessica (270.799.5936) and we’ll save you a seat! 

“During the free event, participants will have access to special protective solar viewing shades, be able to view the transit through telescopes provided by WKU’s Department of Physics and Astronomy and view on the scoreboard a live feed of the transit from NASA telescopes in Hawaii.”
