The Church at Corinth had become enamored with human wisdom,ingenuity, and strength. Paul wants them to know that spiritual power isn’t found in human wisdom or strength, but in weakness. Every church must embrace the weakness of the cross, the weakness of the church and the weakness of the message if they are to know the true power of God.
