To the Fellowship@Grace,
On October 17-23 individuals from the Missions Leadership Team and the elders at Grace (Pastor Mike Troyer, Lyn Cook, and Pastor Craig Groendyk), along with Julie Troyer and Julia Cook, will be visiting Haiti for an on-the-ground assessment of the ministry at the Church of Bethesda in the village of Madeline, just outside the city of Cap-Haitien. They will be meeting Pastor Julio Jean Gilles to learn of both the need and the opportunity for a partnership that might develop into a vital missions outreach for Grace. You can learn more about the work at Madeline here: CONNECT GLOBAL / HAITI.
The Advance Team will also take this opportunity to carry some much needed school supplies with them to the primary school at the Church of Bethesda – – you can help in this endeavor. Needed supplies include – pencils, pens, notebooks, erasers, soccer balls, volleyballs, and basketballs. The school is expecting about 250 children this year and these supplies are almost impossible to obtain in Haiti. Please see Lyn or Mike for specifics of how you can help. You can also make cash donations to offset the shipping expenses.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Grace,
Steve Wilson
