Someone has written, ‘Aimlessness is akin to lifelessness’. It is certain that God did not create us to be lifeless – so we might well conclude He did create us to live with a clear aim. But what is it that Christians should target? The writer of Hebrews and so many other admonitions of Scripture point to one vitally important target: the consideration of others. So ask yourself, ‘Why did I get up this morning?’
