All Christians would acknowledge the importance of the question ‘Have you received the Holy Spirit?’ However not all would agree when or how the question applies. Paul’s doctrine of the Holy Spirit seems straightforward: if you have not the Holy Spirit you have not the Lord. So we could ask the question another way: Are you a Christian?
